Weekly Musings – Mindfulness
March 18th, 2012Mindfulness took me a while to not only understand but to also put into practice. Life is so full of doing "stuff" that our thoughts are often busy thinking of what needs to be done next and how much we have to do which is exhausting. This way we miss out on what is really happening in our lives, right down to the simple things, like receiving a beautiful smile.
It is a very simple concept and so wonderful to use to slow us down and enjoy the moment, ie smelling the roses. My life has changed dramatically after I was shown how to practice mindfulness in a meditation class.
