We use only quality, natural and organic ingredients, and the range is made without any of the chemicals and harsh substances that have traditionally been found in skin care products. This means that Franc Essential is free of sodium laurel sulfate, artificial fragrances, colours, chemicals, and additives. The Creator of Franc Essential, Chantal Vanderhaeghen, was visiting her grandmother in France after the death of her father. Feeling a need to nurture herself in her grief she took the opportunity to spend some time surrounded by nature and immersing herself in the beauty of the lavender farms and other herbal delights in the fields of southern France.
Chantal was intuitively aware of the healing nature of her surroundings and she was delighted by the soothing experience and the strong connection she felt with the beauty of nature surrounding her. During this time Chantal was fascinated with the intricate distillation and extraction process that was used to create the beautiful French lavender oil. It was the combination of the beauty of this experience and her personal healing that moved her to combine nature’s natural elements and create a beautiful natural anti-aging skin care range just for you.
As Chantal remembers: “I was simply touched by the power of nature; the process of extracting pure and potent compounds from plants. What was happening all around me was both magical and healing. I knew then that I wanted to somehow capture this experience and share it with others. I enjoy describing this experience for me as both being soul deep and skin deep and I believe that Franc Essential reflects this beautiful experience to everyone who chooses to use our natural anti-aging skin care range.”

My life purpose is to use my experience, passion, honesty and humour to support and encourage you to find your sense of self confidence and beauty to lead joyful and fulfilling lives.
I started my journey to bring together a lifetime of experiences to share them with you in a simple and effective way. My overwhelming desire is for you to also experience the inner beauty that I now feel which led me to create Franc Essential, a beautiful and natural anti-aging skin care range that I know will delight all of you who choose to use it.
I have been passionately committed to developing a beautiful natural skincare range since the late 1990’s. I was raised in a health conscious environment in Switzerland, and it became second nature for me to embrace natural healthcare and environmental concepts. After completing studies in Australia, including administration and a certificate IV in aromatherapy, my subsequent years of work as a holistic massage and facial practitioner provided the opportunity to intimately study a complete range of skin types and the way they respond to a wide range of other products on the market at the time.
As I was doing my research, I found that these products I had been looking at may not deliver what I believed was possible and it concerned me that they can cause reactions to the skin. And I felt convinced there must be a better way to produce a product that was natural, easy to use, beautiful on the skin and give people the skin they love to live in. This ignited a fire in me to create exactly that product that would gently replenish and nourish your skin for you to look and feel younger naturally. I wanted to create a natural skincare that worked for all women around the world so you could love your skin.
My passion was to create a versatile skin care range what would nourish and regenerate all skins in all seasons all around the world. I came to the conclusion that carefully combined natural ingredients have the power to balance and enhance any skin in any climate. It can become your silent beauty buddy that just knows how to balance your skin.

During my studies in Europe and Australia, I was privileged to study under and be mentored by world-renowned authorities in the medical and beauty industries, including American researcher, Ron Guba (BSc Health Sciences, Aromatic Medicine), and the late Donna Arthur (BSc, Ass. Dip. Natural Medicine,) founder of the Australian School of Clinical Aromatherapy.
I completed a year’s formal study in Australia in aromatherapy and after meeting Dr Penoel, a French GP specialising in aromatic medicine, I become more convinced than ever of the benefits of using essential oils.
While I was studying I was moving closer to my vision of creating a natural nourishing and balancing skin care range giving an inner and outer glow, that the Franc Essential core belief of simplicity, beauty and ease of use, was born.
