A Simple Natural Skincare Regime

1. Cleanse – Daily / Twice Daily

Cleansing removes dead skin cells, grime, dirt and pollutants. It assists in reducing skin blemishes and unclogging pores. Particularly beneficial for mature skin when the shedding of the outer layer becomes more irregular, leaving the skin dull, and uneven.

2. Balance – Daily / Twice Daily

Balancing mists will dampen and soothe the skin, improving spreadability, absorption and retention of a moisturiser, without the negative effects of an alcohol-based toner. Carry a Franc Balancing Mist around with you to freshen you up when you are feeling hot and bothered.

3. Moisturise – Daily / Twice Daily

Moisturising hydrates and repairs the skin, giving it a wonderful glow and evenness. Your skin will feel softer, look more even, balanced and radiant. When using a Franc moisturiser you will feel the difference quickly as the active ingredients take effect and your skin comes alive!

The regular use of moisturisers prevents excess moisture loss induced by environmental or lifestyle factors. They assist in balancing the oil and water content in the skin and protect the skin from clogging with external dirt.

4. Exfoliate – Regularly, After Cleansing

Exfoliation assists in further penetration of skin care products as it removes the layer of dry and dead skin cells that lies beyond the reach of cleansers. Franc Exfoliate stimulates cell renewal and blood circulation, leaving the skin feeling fresh and clean.

Moisturising and Combating Dry Skin

Moisturising helps to:

  • Balance the function of the skin;
  • Encourage new cell growth;
  • Heal and restore the skin;
  • Regulate secretions from the sweat and sebaceous glands;
  • Decongest the pores;
  • Repair, regenerate and strengthen;
  • Oxygenate; and
  • Slow down the ageing process.

More Ways to Combat Dry Skin:

  • Mist and moisturise immediately after showering;
  • Use the serum with moisturiser;
  • Do not have excessively long hot showers and baths (tempting though this is)!
  • Use your towel to pat, not rub your body dry;
  • Add extra moisturiser to skin at night and if you are up early doing outdoor exercise ; and
  • Drink lots of water.
