This is such a big issue around the world – how not to age and how to remain young and youthful looking. I have just recently read in a magasine that “aging is not only natural, it is beautiful”. I could not agree more with this statement, even if I did not agree with how they recommend you remain beautiful.
What does this mean? That we may finally be also looking at our inner beauty and vitality and not just the plastic fantastic of celebrity coverage and photo shopping. Love it.
Why would you want to put yourself through considerable pain or discomfort as a minimum and a lot of downtime which is what many anti aging skin treatements do. You may get the skin rejuvenation you want but are you prepared for the side effects? And it is an ongoing and expensive way to go.
I am all about you enjoying being who you are and feeling confident about your looks at any stage of your life.
As mentioned last week, look after yourself as you are not doing your skin any favours by smoking, having excess alcohol intake and being over exposed to the sun. Another issue that does not help is not cleansing and exfoliating regularly, particularly when you are wearing make up.
Enjoy exercise and the fresh air. And regularly use a skin care range that replenishes, nourishes and hydrates the skin – this is called anti-aging. These should include Vitamin C and E as they are excellent anti-oxidants and reduce those fine lines and wrinkles that we become concerned about.
To end on a positive note:
Let the world know you are you are, not as you think you should be. (Fanny Brice)
